plate competitions

1.These competitions shall be known as The Plate Competitions and shall be entirely under the control of the Bedford Sports Horsham & District Youth Football League Management Committee. These plates shall never be won outright.

2.The Officers of the League shall be for all intents and purposes the legal owners of the Plates, in trust for the League.

3.The Competitions shall be open to teams who lose their first match in the Cup Competitions be it preliminary, first or second rounds, provided that they have actually fulfilled that fixture. For the avoidance of doubt it shall not apply to teams losing by a walkover.

4.In addition to the provisions of Rule 5 of the Cup Competitions that shall be deemed similarly to the Plate Competitions, no player shall be eligible to play in the Plate Competition if the player has already played in that season for another Cup Competition in the Bedford Sports Horsham & District Youth Football League for another team.

5.All Plate fixtures shall be completed on the first attempt. With the exception of this, the rules as defined in Cup Competitions Rule 9 apply.

6.Except for the Plate Competition Rules, the Rules applicable to the Bedford Sports Horsham & District Youth Football League Competitions or Cup Competitions as appropriate shall apply.
