Allocation of league appointed referees for 17th - 20th April 24th April Referee Contact List Referee Match Return Card

Games with a league appointed referee must kick off at the time stated on the spreadsheet or 9.30am.

Please can club secretaries of the home teams arrange for the referee’s to be contacted by Tuesday evening at the latest with confirmation of match arrangements and directions to the game.

The standard fee payable by the home club is £22 + Travel Expenses (32p per mile). We have tried to keep the costs to approx £30 per game if any are going to be excessively in excess of this let us know after you have contacted the referee and we will see if we can make any changes. Please agree the amount due and ensure payment is made to the referee on the day, before Kick Off or as the referee prefers.

Please also remind managers to complete the referee’s section on the electronic match return in full if a league referee is allocated but not used please leave a note above the referee mark on fulltime. If the score is 60 or less a reason must be left in the note field or emailed to HDYFLmatch@gmail.com as we have to send these to Sussex FA.

Any constructive comments about the referees should be sent to myself via club secretaries to deal with.

Failure to utilise the appointed referee or to make contact in the prescribed way will result in the club being fined.

Reporting Misconduct

PLEASE NOTE THAT WHEN EMAILING YOUR MISCONDUCT REPORTS THEY NEED TO BE SENT TO

discipline@sussexfa.com

This season changes have been made in the way Referees can report misconduct of players on the field of play. If preferred Referees can now forward their misconduct reports to discipline@sussexfa.com by using the two templates available on the right hand side. (You will need to save the form to your computer before attaching them to an email).
If you are having trouble with the date format on the new form or you wish the templates to be emailed to you please contact the Referees Department at referees@sussexfa.com who will forward them on to you.

In previous season Referees who have cautioned players during a match have been required to complete individual misconduct forms, but this has now been changed. The FA have now introduced, with immediate effect, a new Multi Caution Match Report form which permits all cautions from a fixture to be reported on one form.
